The latter half of the 1960's was a tough time for drum corps, and the Vagabonds were no exception. Many of the older corps members aged out or went into the military. The times were a'changing, as they say, and drum corps were caught in the middle of this change.
Around 1965, the corps merged with the Invaders and moved to Stratford N.J. The corps struggled through 1966 and 1967, and in 1968 merged with the Little Devils from Bordentown. While the history at this point is unclear, it appears that the last year the corps was in the field was 1968.
